About the TiFFCOFiO Dusk-to-dawn power stake timer
A power stake with six outlets and a dusk-to-dawn timer in the head, set on a dial.
Turn the dial to on at dusk and off after 2 to 8 hours, to dusk to dawn, or to always on or off, and the light sensor on the head does the rest. Each outlet has its own cover, and the stake keeps the head off the ground.
Cords run from 6 ft to 100 ft. Choose the length by the route from the outlet, and face the sensor at open sky, away from the lights it controls. The dusk-to-dawn power stake timer is one of 41 models in the TiFFCOFiO range.

Questions about the TiFFCOFiO Dusk-to-dawn power stake timer
Face the sensor of the dusk-to-dawn power stake timer at the evening sky and away from the lights it switches, or a porch lamp shining on it reads as daylight and turns the lights back off. Keep the dusk-to-dawn power stake timer out of the shadow of the eaves and away from street lights.
The dusk-to-dawn power stake timer comes in 6 to 100 ft: measure the path its cord will follow, not the straight line, and add a couple of feet for slack.
The dusk-to-dawn power stake timer is made for outdoor use, with covers over the outlets. Keep the covers of the dusk-to-dawn power stake timer closed, point its outlets down or to the side, keep its plug off wet ground and plug it into a GFCI-protected outlet, as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advises for outdoor lights.
