How we keep the TiFFCOFiO catalog current

What changes on this site, how often, and where the facts on each page come from.

Prices

We update prices on a schedule, and the whole catalog moves at once. The catalog was last updated on September 28, 2026. Between two updates a price can move at our retail partner, and if the figure at checkout differs from the one here, the checkout price is the one you pay.

Options that come and go

Every length, pack size and outlet count on a product page is an option you can buy right now. An option that stops being offered disappears from the page at the next update, and it comes back by itself when it is offered again. A product with no options left leaves the site until it returns.

Specifications

Load ratings, outlet counts, cord lengths, wire gauge, surge ratings and timer modes come from our own product data for each option, not from the product family as a whole. A 100 ft cord and a 6 ft cord of the same line can carry different ratings, and each page shows the figure for what you pick.

Ratings

The stars and the count next to a product are the ratings buyers gave that product family. Several lengths or pack sizes of one product share one pool of ratings, so we count each pool once when we add them up.

Photographs

Product photos show our own products on a plain background. Pictures with headlines, arrows or measurements printed over them stay off the site, so what you see is the product itself.

Safety information

Where a page talks about extension cord length, outdoor use, overloading or watering times, it relies on the public sources below, each read before it was cited. The date of that reading is printed next to each source. They are general guidance: the rating on the device and its instruction sheet come first, and wiring belongs with a licensed electrician.

Treats an extension cord as a temporary fix, asks you to match the cord rating to the wattage of what you plug in and to use a cord marked for outdoor use outside, and lists amperage limits by length: a 100-foot 16-gauge cord is good for up to 10 amps, a 25 to 50-foot one for up to 13.
